A thin layer (0.5 mm) of bamboo on a cellulose fleece — that is the basis. With it you can clad any substrate with an authentic bamboo look, at a fraction of the cost of solid bamboo.
Easy to cut to size. Suitable for curved surfaces. D3 water-resistant PVAC glue on the fleece makes pressing onto MDF, OSB or plywood straightforward.
Narrow strips with visible nodes. Gives a graphic, ordered pattern that stands out without becoming busy.
Wider strips, a more flowing image. For projects where the bamboo look may be subtle.
In the factory, a thin layer of veneer is cut from a solid bamboo block and applied to a strong cellulose fleece with D3 water-resistant PVAC glue.
The fleece prevents cracking and makes pressing onto any carrier (MDF, OSB, plywood, gypsum) easy. No special tools needed, no special technique.
