Bamboo
Kraft Pulp.

Virgin bamboo-fibre kraft pulp for paper and moulded-fibre products — available as bleached and unbleached grades. Thin, supple, medium-length fibres with high bulk and a strong tear index, sitting in character between softwood and hardwood.

3,000 years of bamboo paper

Fibre between
softwood and hardwood.

Bamboo has been used to make paper for more than 3,000 years. Bamboo kraft pulp is produced through the sulfate (kraft) digestion process. The fibres are thin, supple and medium-length — which delivers high bulk and a strong tear index.

In length and character, bamboo sits between softwood and hardwood. As a result it can fully replace hardwood pulp, or be blended with softwood pulp to lower the hardwood share in the furnish.

Two grades

Bleached or unbleached.

Both grades are 100% virgin bamboo fibre — the choice determines the tone and the application.

Unbleached
Natural tone

Unbleached

Minimal processing retains the natural fibre tone — for kraft and wrapping paper and eco hygiene paper.

Bleached

Bleached

High brightness for premium household, sanitary and cultural paper — tissue, kitchen roll and napkins.

Forms & packaging

From dry-lap sheet to FCL container.

We supply market pulp as dry-lap sheets — couched, pressed sheets in bales — and as jumbo mother reels (OEM/ODM) of 100% natural bamboo and wood pulp. The bales are moisture-resistant wrapped, steel-strapped and loaded palletised into an FCL container.

  • Dry-lap sheets · moisture content 10% (selling weight)
  • Mother reels up to 2800 mm wide · 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 ply
  • Reel Ø 1000–1150 mm · production time 7–15 days

Fibre performance

The properties of bamboo, in the paper.

Thin, supple, medium-length fibres give high bulk and a strong tear index — with the natural properties of bamboo carrying through into the end product.

Breathable

Open, breathable fibre structure — ideal for soft tissue and breathable wrapping paper.

Fast water absorption

High capillarity draws up moisture quickly, for strong wet performance.

Naturally antibacterial

Bamboo fibre carries a natural resistance to bacterial growth, retained after pulping.

UV resistant

The dense fibre wall offers natural resistance to UV degradation in end products.
